Juan Uslé: Ojo y Paisaje: Bombas Gens Centre d’Art, Valencia, Spain

  • This exhibition, curated by Nuria Enguita and Vicent Todolí, presents a selection of the Juan Uslé’s work from the late 1980s – with expressionist, abstract landscapes and robust brushstrokes – to paintings from the series Soñé que revelabas, made in the last ten years.

This series, a sort of self-portrait representing the artist's most intimate work, is further contextualised with a set of drawings – which function as notes or tests – and paintings from the 1990s, with landscapes of intense colours that alternate gesture and geometry.

Eye and Landscape emerged from the study of Uslé’s works within the Per Amor a l’Art Collection, which continues to support artists through exhibitions and monographic publications.
