The color evokes intensity, devotion, and inner transformation, themes that resonate throughout Sanpitak’s practice. Applied as collage. mawata silk forms a central abstract mass that asserts a powerful physical presence. While the red is a symbol of divine love, the form itself is not representational but emerges from Sanpitak’s ongoing exploration of the body as a vessel—at once fragile and resilient, grounded and transcendent. The tactile, irregular surface invites haptic engagement, holding space for contemplation and embodied experience.
